Andrew was the partner in charge of the Property Department of Rowley Ashworth for 15 years until he left together with the majority of staff in that department to set up Ashworths as a specialist property practise in May 2000.

At Rowley Ashworth Andrew was heavily involved in the management of the firm including a 3 year term as managing partner of the national partnership.

Andrew specialises in commercial property work acting for a wide range of investors and developers as well as businesses with multiple properties.

Brendan

Brendan trained as a solicitor in a national Trade Union firm and qualified in 1997 joining that firm's property department.

In 2000 Brendan and some former colleagues set up the firm Ashworths from offices above a pottery shop in Wimbledon. The firm has now expanded to become one of the best known and respected property firms in South West London and Surrey.

Brendan specialises in commercial property, with particular emphasis on development acquisition. His work includes secured lending, landlord and tenant and also licensing.

As well as being responsible for the firm's forward thinking IT policy, Brendan is also responsible for accreditation compliance including Ashworths' Lexcel and Investors in People awards.

Loveday qualified in 1978 having graduated from Kings College London University. She trained in a prestigous firm in Piccadilly and then after a few years in the West End she moved to Rowley Ashworth in Wimbledon in 1983.

At Rowley Ashworth Loveday was involved in growing a department of two to a much larger and successful commercial and residential property department. In May 2000 this department left Rowley Ashworth to become the present property specialist firm known as Ashworths.

As a partner, Loveday now oversees the residential property department at Ashworths. She specialises in residential property matters across the board being particularly expert in leasehold matters. Under her guidance the firm has expanded its expertise in lease extension and enfranchisement work which Loveday now deals with jointly with her colleague Rachel McKendrick.

Due to her years of experience in Wimbledon, Loveday has become very familiar with the local market and its nuances and has good relations with other local professionals including surveyors and estate agents.

Loveday is also qualified as a Notary Public and is pleased to be able to provide notarial services to our clients.

Diana Greenham

Diana

Diana is an experienced Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives and has worked for several law firms in the Wimbledon area since 1987. She joined Rowley Ashworth in 1994, initially to assist Andrew Struthers with the ever increasing caseload of overseas investment clients.

Diana spent many years dealing with acquisition of new build property for a mix of Hong Kong investment buyers and both UK investment and private buyers. During this time she attended property exhibitions in Hong Kong and Singapore to represent clients personally on the purchase of new build 'off plan' properties. She has retained strong links with many Far East property agencies and financial institutions and continues to represent overseas clients on the subsequent re-sale of their investment properties.

Diana also deals with general residential conveyancing and has more recently taken over our in-house department providing Home Information Packs.

Rachel McKendrick

Rachel

Rachel joined Ashworths in Spring 2006 and works in the Residential Property Department.

She studied Law at the University of Southampton. After her Legal Practice Certificate, she completed her training at a mid-sized law firm in Surrey.

Since qualifying as a Solicitor in 2004 Rachel has worked in residential property dealing with a wide range of transactions including buying and selling freehold and leasehold properties, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, lease extensions and collective enfranchisement claims.

Rachel has developed a specialism in complex statutory lease extension and collective enfranchisement claims under the Leasehold Reform legislation acting for both landlords and leaseholders.
